When the plan changes

Missing the things you normally do.

Lilly had a frustrating ankle injury earlier in the year that stopped her doing many of the things she normally enjoys: footy, netball, training and staying active.

In this conversation, we make room for the mental side of that experience. When your usual activities are interrupted, having support, a plan and a goal to work towards becomes an important part of the story.

Inside the interview

Staying involved when it feels slow.

We talk about frustration, the people around Lilly and keeping an end goal in sight when rehab feels slow. The interview captures her experience of staying in the process through that period.

If an injury has interrupted something you enjoy, you may recognise parts of this conversation. Watch above to hear Lilly’s perspective on the setback and the support that helped her through it.

From Cuz

Your own starting point.

Has a setback changed what you need from training? Tell me where you are in the process and any guidance you have been given, and we can talk about suitable support.

Keep talking. Keep a goal in sight. Take the process one step at a time.
