Where it started
A lot can change in ten years.
Owen started training with me when he was 14. Ten years later, we sat down to talk about what training has meant to him and how that relationship with the gym has changed.
Building confidence was part of the starting point. Over time, rugby, injuries and recovery became part of the conversation too. The interview follows that longer journey and what it means to keep training as life changes.
Inside the interview
Training that grows with you.
We talk about confidence in the gym, the demands of rugby and navigating setbacks. There is a different perspective that comes from looking back over a decade: the reasons you train can develop alongside the rest of your life.
That is what I wanted to capture with Owen’s story. A training journey can include progress, interruptions, recovery and a change of focus. Watch the conversation above to hear how Owen reflects on his own experience.
From Cuz
Your own starting point.
Starting out, returning to the gym or working out how training fits around your sport? Tell me where you are now, and we can talk about a suitable starting point.
Give yourself somewhere to start—and room to keep growing.
